Silliness
A number of bloggers have been questioning the citizenship of criminals.
To them, I say, you're missing the argument of illegal immigration as much as those who wish to eliminate the word illegal from the argument.
Don't go there.
You're starting to look foolish.
And starting is being kind.

The issue goes to the question of Border Security, and no further.
Clearly, 50++ years of neglect have consequences.
I understand that if border security had been better, in some cases one less killing in this country because someone never immigrated here illegally in the first place. But questioning the immigration status of a killer based on their name gives ammunition to those who think our side of the debate is fueled by racism. Furthermore, it leaves the false impression that anti-illegal immigration advocates believe all illegal immigrants are hardened criminals. Frankly, we don't need to look any further than the fact they crossed the border illegally to find the crime.
Ummmm...
The "race card" is played a lot--and I notice that the Lefty blogger is very fond of using it.
The Left has managed to control the language.
There was never a question of what RACE the perp is. There was only a question of his STATUS.
